Mumbida Wind Farm
The Mumbida Wind Farm is a 55MW renewable energy project under development by a joint venture of Verve Energy and Macquarie Capital Group (known as Mumbida Wind Farm Pty Ltd).
Located approximately 40km southeast of Geraldton, the 22 turbine project is expected to commence operations by the end of 2012.
In a typical year electricity production from the wind farm will be equivalent to the electricity consumption of 35,000 homes and will displace 200,000 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions.
