Fuel

Fuel security is paramount in ensuring supply security.

Our main fuels are gas and coal, though we also burn some distillate. Our gas comes from the North West Shelf Joint Venture and is transported in the Dampier-Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline and we use coal from the Collie coal fields.

Also we have secured gas storage arrangements to provide emergency gas supply in times of gas supply disruption.
