Supplier Accreditation

To ensure that Verve Energy’s corporate governance, environmental policies and safety procedures are maintained, all Suppliers providing Goods or Services to Verve Energy must be a registered supplier on our supplier database. Once registered, Verve Energy can request Goods or Services quickly and efficiently through the issuing of a Purchase Order.

To become a registered supplier, your company will need to complete a Supplier Accreditation Package, which will be provided to you by the person requesting your company’s Goods or Services. The Supplier Accreditation Package consists of the following sections:

Supply Request Form

This form must be completed by all new suppliers and contains business and commercial information requirements such as your company name, ABN, bank details and preferred order method.

Insurance Schedule

This form is required to be completed by suppliers who will be providing “on-site services” to Verve Energy.

The minimum insurance requirements for on-site service suppliers are:
 (a) Worker's Compensation or Employer's Liability as required by law,
 (b) Public and Product Liability insurance,
 (c) Motor Vehicle Insurance covering all vehicles, plant and equipment used in connection with the services.

If your Company is an on-site service supplier, you will be required to supply updated insurance details on expiration of the current policy. To help you with this process a reminder letter will be sent, prior to the insurance expiry date, requesting a copy of the new Certificates of Currency. If you do not provide updated insurance details your accreditation will be deactivated.

Safety and Environmental Declaration

This form is required to be completed by suppliers who will be providing “on-site services” to Verve Energy.

The declaration tells Verve Energy that your company has read and agrees to abide by Verve Energy’s safety and environmental principles and policies.
