Expressions of Interest

Integrated Wood Processing (IWP) plant

Expressions of Interest are invited from parties interested in joining Verve Energy in this environmentally friendly, ground breaking renewable energy project.

Using up to 20 million plantation mallee trees as fuel stock, the plant will produce 5MW of renewable electricity, activated carbon and eucalyptus oil.

The project will capitalise on Verve Energy’s demonstration IWP plant at Narrogin which confirmed that these Australian technologies could be integrated in the one plant and operate successfully, and profitably.

The IWP concept addresses two big environmental challenges of climate change and dryland salinity, as well as boosting regional development.
