Board

The Board of Directors is the governing body of Verve Energy and is responsible to the Minister for Energy for the performance of the business.

Peter West (Chairman, appointed for three years):
Chairman of the Dampier Port Authority and formerly a BP Amoco business unit leader.

Harvey Collins (Deputy Chairman, three years):
Chairman of HBF Health Funds and Worldwide Online Printing, director of several companies, former director of Western Power.

Martine Pop (two years):
Full-time non-executive director, including Chair of the WA Meat Industry Authority and director of Gold Corporation and Australian Rail Track Corporation.

John O'Connor (one year):
Director of Fremantle Ports, former Australian Industrial Relations Commissioner and former director of Western Power.

Ian Purcell (two years):
Principal power consultant to the Power and Industry Group in WA and NT, for engineering consultants Sinclair Knight Mertz.
