Grasmere Wind Farm
Work is underway on the Grasmere Wind Farm, which will add another six wind turbines to the existing 12 turbines at the Albany Wind Farm site.
The combined wind farms of 18 turbines with 35.4MW capacity, will produce around 80% of Albany’s electricity needs with clean, inexhaustible renewable energy. The project is due to be completed by early 2012.
