The three gas turbines at our Mungarra Gas Turbine Power Station have the capacity to produce 112MW of electricity.
Built in 1990 and located 50km south east of Geraldton, Mungarra Gas Turbine Station is fired by gas. The power station is connected to two transmission lines which supply electricity to Geraldton and the Mid West district.
Gas for the power station is supplied from the Dampier-Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline.
The power station is controlled remotely from the East Perth Control Centre.
Mungarra power station is controlled remotely from the East Perth Control Centre.
