Environmental Management

Environmental Management System

An Environmental Management System (EMS) is a structured process for assessing and managing environmental risk and achieving continual improvement in environmental performance.

The EMS is a system, underpinned by the Environmental Policy, which is designed to support due diligence and the principles of continuous improvement.  It is based on the methodology known as Plan-Do-Check-Act and is set in place to manage environmental impacts, both current and future.  Verve Energy’s significant environmental issues include gaseous emissions, including greenhouse gases, fuel management and waste management.
