Verve Energy is WA's leading energy producer.
Verve Energy has five major power stations - Muja, Collie, Kwinana, Cockburn and Pinjar north of Perth. We also have wind farms at Albany and Esperance, and biomass and solar facilities.
Verve Energy was created in April 2006 when Western Power separated into four businesses as part of the State Government energy market reforms.
We compete against privately owned energy companies to provide a reliable electricity supply in the South West Interconnected System (SWIS), an area bounded by Geraldton to the north, Kalgoorlie to the east and Albany to the south.
Power Stations
Verve Energy 's power stations have the capacity to produce 2967MW of electricity. Our power stations supply electricity to an area bounded by Kalbarri to the north, Kalgoorlie to the east and Albany to the south.

Verve Energy Collie Community Fund
Grants of up to $1,000 are available to the Collie community through the newly launched Verve Energy Collie Community Fund. This is the first community fund to be set up in the Collie district to directly benefit local people and local projects.
